How to create a Bibliography in Word 2007:
  1. Click on References tab
  2. Manage sources (Make sure Style says APA)
    1. Click New
    2. choose Type of Source from the drop down i.e. Book, website etc
    3. Complete as many fields as you know e.g for websites:
i. Name of web page - top left corner of browser window
ii. Name of Web Site - site you are visiting
iii. Date and author - usually found at the bottom of the webpage near copyright information
iv. Click OK when finished first reference
  1. Click New if you have anymore references to go into the Bibliography and repeat steps i to iv above.
  2. This builds up a Master list of sites on the left that will always be available to re-use in other assignments.
  3. The right hand side Current list is just for the present assignment, you can Copy or Delete between master and current lists as needed.
  4. Click Close when complete.
  5. Make sure the mouse is on your Bibliography page then click References \Bibliography \Bibliography and this automatically inserts a bibliography heading and the Current List of references you created earlier.
